Why order through Tricolour Outlet?

There are many advantages of placing your custom order through Tricolour Outlet. For one, the purchasing manager is a full-time, contracted employee that deals with several custom orders on a daily basis. This means that the purchasing manager has a wide range of experience with different types of garments and merchandise and will be able to provide you with multiple options in order to find the best product for you! This also gives you the opportunity to have a one-on-one experience with your supplier who will be able to explain all of the costs and help you decide on what is best to order, which is difficult to find in the custom order industry. Additionally, our positive relationships with suppliers and manufactures allow us to offer you competitive prices and turnaround times.

We make it easy

While clothing is our most commonly requested customizable option, we can customize just about anything. Some examples include: T-shirts sweaters, quarter zips, sweatpants, pens, hats, lanyards, glassware, jerseys, Frisbees, travel mugs, key chains, water bottles, and more! Get creative and we will work with you to make it happen. Additionally, our positive relationships with suppliers and manufactures allow us to offer you competitive prices and turnaround times.

Custom Order Checklist

Start brainstorming. Here is a general checklist of things you should think about when designing your custom order. Just fill out this checklist in an email to our purchasing manager for a quote as well as a list of options. Your order can be as simple or as complex as you want!

 

  • Type of garment or merchandise.
  • Colour, or colours of items
  • Number of items
  • An image if applicable of what you would like (Must be in .pdf, .psd or, .eps file format)
  • Customization format (Twill applique, screen-printing, or embroidery)
  • Customization location (Front chest, wrap-around-side, beneath collar, lower back, sleeve- Almost anywhere you can think of!)
Clothing Order Checklist

Here is a checklist of some things we will need to process your order – it can be as simple or complex as you want.

  • Garment brand  (Gildan, American Apparel, Russel etc.)

  • Image if applicable (Must be in .pdf ,.psd or .eps file format)

  • Image width

  • Customization format (Twill applique, screen-printing and embroidery)

  • Customization location (Front chest, wrap-around-side, beneath collar, lower back, sleeve- Almost anywhere you can think of!)

  • Colours of your customizations

  • A list of personalized names/ numbers (if applicable)

Money Saving Tips

The cost will build for each personalization added, here are some suggestions of how you can keep costs down and make your order easier.

  • Go with a more cost friendly manufacturer such as Fruit of the Loom or Gildan instead of American Apparel
  • Limit the amount of colours in a screen print design
  • Limit the number of locations customized for embroidery
  • Keep quantity price breaks in mind. The cost per item will decrease the more you order.
  • Finally, plan early! The general turnaround time is 2-3 weeks from the confirmation date, but can increase during busier months, so make sure to leave yourself enough time.
